Let us run the race to win:

From the book of Hebrews 12 we read about running the race. This was written following the model of athletes performing in a big stadium. Athletes wore very light clothes. They were almost naked to avoid being hindered by anything. The same way the writer of Hebrews is calling you and me to put aside anything that may hinder us from running the race that is set before us. Sins want to get easely on us. Unnecessary worries are easy to get in our ways. Unnecessary disputes between people are there too. Let us put all these things aside, and let us run the race for this coming year 2013.Running to win.

Read Philippians 3:12-14 and let us follow Paul's example of forgetting the past we cannot fix, but let us run to win the price prepared for us by Christ. Failures of 2012 are history. Success in Christ, and I mean in Christ, for the coming year should be our goal. And with Him, YES WE CAN.
