Aspecial day of prayer for Africa Unity was organized by Congo Justice, USA, in Las Vegas. On Saturday August 18, 2012, close to 200 brothers and pastors got together to respond to the call for unity that Africa is so in need. The African Christian Community Church of Southern California, ACCC-SC has a firm believe that, through prayers, Congo will one day be free from all these man made disasters being inflicted on people. This was one of the reasons ACCC has made the trip to participate. |
As we are witnessing tears on our brothers and sisters fall plenty, this opportunity was, once again used to raise awareness and to engage each and every Congolese from all creed not to sit idle; instead, to stand up and do what is right for the country so that we may hold the hand of freedom. Quoting Angie Fenimore: Out of the most tragic circumstances springs human grow!.
Let keep this blessing country, and all those who have died or affected one way or another by this tragedy in our thoughts and prayers. May God in his infinite grace and mighty, pour in his love, mending broken heart. In Jesus Name, Amen!
African Christian Community Church is motivated by its passion to participate in helping fulfill the Great Commission of our Lord Jesus Christ as described in Matthew 28:18-20. We are always delighted to see tired and afflicted lives restored, new lives coming to know Christ in a personal way, and people growing in the knowledge of God and in loving Him more and more, while loving others as themselves. We enjoy seeing the Spirit of God in action. To reach that goal we have set up a few objectives:
Dear brothers and sisters in Christ:
It is with great feeling of joy that I am writing to thank each one of you who made last Sunday of July 22nd 2012, a big day of learning, praying and praising our Lord at ACCCSC. The Democratic Republic of Congo was the focal point of our prayers. This is because we do believe that with sincere prayers to the Almighty Lord, and different actions taken to fight violence, the situation in Congo will change for the best of the Congolese people
No one can stop God from fulfilling His plans. He will fulfill them anyway. That sums up the history of ACCCS. That goes back to 1996 when the pop music band called Afrisa International moved into Southern California from the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), and made Anaheim, California, its home.
We would like you to know Jesus and his wonders, and to accept Him as your Savior.
Please note: The Salvation Prayer (sometimes referred to as the Sinner's Prayer) that follows, isn't any "official prayer" but rather a sample prayer to follow when asking Jesus into your heart. You can pray to God in your own words.

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. 2 Corinthians 9:7.
